Adopt a hamlet
There are so many that want to help and in their own way give back to the community for the many blessings that they have received but they do not know whom to reach out to, and even if they do know, they don’t know how to reach out to the underprivileged.
Adopting a hamlet should not be an individual effort but it should be group, society or community based, as it is not a short-term one-off activity, but a long-term commitment. At CSA, we help you identify and introduce you to the village through a meet and greet session. You interact with the children of the village, take a walking tour of the village and understand the needs of the community. The beauty is that you reach out to all of them at once and ensure that they get their rights to healthcare, education, electricity, etc. Your support can ensure an all-round development for hamlet.
Support us by participating in the Mumbai Marathon
We strive to positively impact the lives of the vulnerable and the marginalized by building their capacities and empowering them to stand on their own feet so that they can take care of themselves, educate their children and live a life of pride and dignity and we invite you to support us in our mission by participating in the Mumbai Marathon.
Centre for Social Action has registered with United Way of Mumbai (UWM) who is the Philanthropy Partner for the TATA Mumbai Marathon (TMM). You can participate either as an individual or put up a corporate team through your organization and buy the charity bibs from us. UWM disburses the amount received through the sale of Charity Bibs and Online Fund Raising done by individual runners to CSA after the Marathon and CSA uses the funds to realize this dream for a better tomorrow through the children empowerment programs in Raigad, Mumbai, and Thane Districts
