Centre for Social Action has been implementing community animation and capacity building programs for the different community centres and Community Based Organizations. Trainings are given to youth, animators, grassroots workers, domestic workers, women from Mahila Mandal, Self Help Groups (SHGs), etc. on topics like basics of social work, good governance, para legal literacy, etc.

These training have helped to bring about awareness in participants on various pertinent issues and to realize their potential for overall development.

The capacity building certificate course is conducted once every month over a period of 10 months in a year. The participants are required to attend all the 10 training programs.  These full-day training are usually held in Hindi or Marathi at Salvation Seva Kendra Hall, Dadar (West). At the end of the course, participants are presented with certificates for consistently and actively participating in the various capacity building sessions organized by Centre for Social Action.
