   Fr. Mario Mendes


 
Fr. Mario Mendes, a diocesan priest for the Archdiocese of Bombay is the Director of Centre for Social Action. A qualified electronics engineer, he left Larsen & Toubro after a 5-year stint, to join the seminary. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Psychology and a post graduate Diploma in Human Rights from the Dept. of Civics and Politics, both from University of Mumbai. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, where he specialized in Community Organization, Urban Development

    Aditi Shah


 
Aditi Shah, completed her graduation in 2015 from Jai Hind College Mumbai in Bachelor of Mass Media. She has 2 years of work experience in Public Relations working on brands like Sony, AXN, Mondelez, The Lodha Group, Network 18 etc. Her role at CSA is to strengthen and support the formation and functioning of livelihood cooperative of the tribals and help them in fostering livelihood initiatives. She enjoys reading books, dancing and watching movies in her free time.

  Celine Monteiro


 
Celine Monteiro, a B.Com graduate from St. Andrews College, Bandra and later completed Executive Assistant’s Diploma from Davar’s College of Commerce and Secretarial Studies. Currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (specialization in Finance) from Welingkar Institute. Her role is to co-ordinate with donor agencies, prepare project proposals and budgets, finalizing MoUs with donor agencies/partner organizations, financial management of projects, maintaining project documentation and compliances, generating financial reports, co-ordination of narrative reports, and co-ordination of financial matters with Accounts department. Her hobbies are singing, playing the guitar, dancing, reading and craft.

Dayanand Patil


 
Dayanand Patil, has been in the social sector for the past 25 years. He holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Tilak Maharashtra University – College of Social Work, Pune with main subjects Urban and Rural Community Development (URCD) and a research on Health Problems of Tribal community in Vasai Taluka. He previously worked with Don Bosco Development Society as a Centre coordinator, Placement Officer and program Manager since 2003-2016. At CSA he works as a program District coordinator in Dharavi Island (D.I) community centres. D.I. Community reaches a level of empowerment where they take ownership of the program through the People Led Empowerment Approach. He is fluent in Marathi,Hindi and English and loves theatrics, listening to music, travelling and interacting with people.

Derick Fernandes


 
Derick Fernandes, Graduate in Physics with Diploma in Computer Programming. Started career as a programmer and then went on to work with a design company, Better Communications, in the area of client servicing. After working with various advertising agencies through the design company moved on to work with OnMobile Global, in their media division as National Account Manager. At CSA, he is Heading the Maaza Maharashtra Maaza Sahabhag Project to build up a network on Children’s Parliament in Maharashtra. Also looking after CSR and Publicity. He loves Craft, especially building models and Origami and going on long rides on his RE Classic.

Dilency Dcosta


 
Dilency Dcosta, a graduate in Information Technology for Sophia College for Women. Currently pursuing her Post Graduate Diploma in Management studies (E-commerce specialization). Worked as a technical analyst and resolution expert at Dell. She handles Social Media and documentation for CSA. She loves singing, sketching, dancing and travelling.

Mishal Dabre


 
Mishal Dabre completed her B.A from Mumbai University and obtained social work diploma from S.N.D.T. & M.S.W. from IGNOU. She worked in Voluntary Health and development society & Jag NGO with tribal women & Adolescent girls for 2 years. She is involved in women empowerment program through Formation & strengthening of SHG. At CSA Mishal is a Facilitator of 3 CCO  of DI and 3 CCO of Mumbai as well as coordinating the capacity building program as well as FEP. In her free time Mishal likes to dance, read books, teach, cook, etc.

Nikhil K


 
Nikhil K. is a B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation. He has more than 3 years of work experience primarily in Sales and Marketing. He has worked in the sectors of water treatment technology, education and CSR in roles of business development, product development, marketing and other allied roles. Nikhil is a Livelihoods Consultant at CSA, his role primarily involves strengthening and supporting the formation of the livelihood co-operative of the tribals and market their products for better prices. He likes Trekking, Travelling, Writing, Reading and Researching

Prateek Dwivedi


 
Prateek Dwivedi did his engineering from NIT-Bhopal and is working with CSA since August 2017. He worked as a Software Engineer for the past 5 years before he joined India Fellow and was assigned to work with CSA. Working primarily as a Project Head, his job is to initiate and scope livelihoods for the Kathkaris in Raigad. He works out of Mangaon and co-ordinates with all the Raigad partners about his work. His hobbies include listening to music, watching movies and football.

Rasika Bhandari


 
Rasika Bhandari Completed her Master’s in Social Work from Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai. She has completed 4.5 years with CSA and currently works in Dharavi Island three community centres. These community centres focuses and exploring the grass root community mobilization & on issues related to Communities, women, children, senior citizens, youth, Fisher folk & Farmers. Mainly reaches the level of empowerment where they take ownership of the program through the People Led Empowerment (PLE) approach. She is fluent in Marathi, English, Hindi, and the local Marathi dialect of Dharavi Island.

Princia Patil


 
Princia Patil completed her B.com from Shankar Narayan College and has acquired a Diploma in Computer Accounting and Graphics. Princia works as a junior accountant at CSA. She likes story writing/story Telling, Articles writing, Reading books

Sachin Wagh


 
Sachin Wagh obtained his MSW (Master in social work) form TISS (Tata institute of social sciences) specializing in Disability studies and action form Mumbai University campus. He completed his graduation from Amravati University. At CSA, Sachin is a Zonal Field Supervisor and his role is to coordinate with Raigad Project Coordinator to Create work Plan, Submit work report and with Raigad Partners. He also facilitates the partners Project related activity, field visit and Monthly review meetings. Sachin loves to read, write and conduct motivational workshops

Roshni D’souza


 
Roshni D’souza Graduated in anthropology and sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Worked in the banking sector for over 12 years. Have been working in the development sector (in NGOs) since last 8 years. At CSA, Roshni is a project co-ordinator and is working primarily on the Children’s Parliament for the UNICEF Project, which include assisting, administering and overseeing the execution of the project plans in Mumbai and Raigad region. She loves travelling (exploring new places and cultures), gardening, pebble art, reading.

Sr. Leonita             Rebello


 
Sr. Leonita Rebello Belongs to the Queen of Apostles a missionary congregation which is known as SRA (in Latin). She joined the congregation in the year 1978 and is with CSA since 1978 handling various roles here.She is very creative and loves cooking, singing, drawing, reading, tailoring and embroidery.

Sr. Meenal          Rodrigues


 
Sr. Meenal Rodrigues Belongs to the Queen of Apostles a missionary congregation which is known as SRA (in Latin). She joined the congregation in the year 1980 and is associated with CSA since 5 years. She handles administrative duties at Sarvodaya Capacity Building Centre. She loves singing, cooking, reading and listening to music.
